1. Purpose

This Copyright & IP Policy explains how rightsholders can report copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other intellectual-property concerns involving content on Wagter.

Wagter hosts user-generated content. Users are responsible for uploading only content they own or have permission to use. Wagter may remove or restrict content when we receive a sufficiently detailed notice or otherwise believe content may violate rights, law, or our policies.

2. How to submit a copyright or IP complaint

Email support@wagters.com with the subject line Copyright/IP Notice. Include enough information for us to identify and review the issue.

  • Your full name and contact email.
  • Whether you are the rightsholder or authorized to act for the rightsholder.
  • A description of the copyrighted work, trademark, or rights you claim are infringed.
  • The exact Wagter content location: post link, profile link, username, screenshot, caption, listing, story/reel details, or other specific identifier.
  • A statement explaining why you believe the content is unauthorized or infringing.
  • A statement that the information you provide is accurate and submitted in good faith.
  • Your electronic or physical signature, or typed full legal name as signature.
Faster review: Include direct URLs, usernames, screenshots, timestamps, and the original source/registration details where available. Vague reports may be delayed or rejected until enough detail is provided.

3. What Wagter may do

After receiving a notice, Wagter may take one or more actions depending on the information provided, applicable law, and platform safety:

  • remove or disable access to the reported content;
  • request additional information from the reporter or uploader;
  • notify the uploader where appropriate;
  • preserve related records where reasonably necessary;
  • reject incomplete, abusive, fraudulent, or bad-faith notices;
  • restore content if a valid dispute/counter-notice is received and no further action is required; and
  • restrict, suspend, or terminate repeat infringer accounts.

4. Counter-notices and disputes

If your content was removed because of a copyright/IP complaint and you believe the removal was a mistake, you may contact support@wagters.com with the subject line Copyright/IP Counter-Notice.

Include your name, contact email, the removed content details, why you believe you had rights to post it, and any supporting evidence. Submitting a false counter-notice may lead to account action and legal consequences.

5. Repeat infringer policy

Wagter may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that repeatedly upload infringing, unauthorized, copied, scraped, reposted, or rights-violating content. We may also limit upload features, remove content, or require additional review for accounts with repeated rights complaints.

6. No abusive notices

You may not submit false, malicious, fraudulent, automated, or bad-faith IP notices. Wagter may reject abusive notices and may restrict accounts that misuse reporting systems.
