Community Guidelines

1. Community purpose

Wagter is built for pet lovers, wildlife creators, animal-care communities, adoption discovery, and educational animal content. Keep the Service respectful, safe, animal-focused, and legally responsible.

2. Content that fits Wagter

• pet photos, videos, stories, reels, and everyday moments;
• wildlife content, nature observation, conservation, and education;
• animal care, grooming, training, feeding, habitat, rescue, and awareness content;
• responsible adoption listings and adoption-related conversations; and
• creator commentary clearly connected to pets, wildlife, animal care, or nature.

3. Upload only content you have rights to use

Do not upload someone else’s photos, videos, music, artwork, watermarked media, downloaded clips, reposts, scraped content, or brand assets unless you own the content or have permission. You are responsible for your uploads.

4. Content and behavior not allowed

• animal cruelty, abuse, neglect, staged harm, or content encouraging harm to animals;
• illegal wildlife trade, poaching, unsafe handling, or exploitation of wildlife;
• copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights violations;
• adult sexual content, sexual exploitation, child safety violations, grooming, or sexualized content involving minors;
• harassment, threats, hate speech, bullying, doxxing, stalking, or targeted abuse;
• scams, fake adoption posts, fraudulent rescue claims, phishing, spam, fake engagement, or deceptive fundraising;
• graphic violence, illegal activity, dangerous instructions, malware, or attempts to abuse the platform;
• misleading AI-generated or manipulated content that creates material harm, deception, or misinformation; and
• anything outside Wagter’s pet/wildlife purpose that we reasonably consider unsafe, abusive, deceptive, or harmful.

5. Adoption listing rules

• List only animals you are legally allowed to list or rehome.
• Provide truthful information about the animal, health, behavior, vaccination/neuter status, and adoption requirements.
• Do not use adoption listings for scams, illegal sale, animal trafficking, bait-and-switch posts, or deceptive fundraising.
• Do not pressure users to pay deposits or move conversation off-platform before verification.
• Report suspicious listings or unsafe behavior immediately.

6. Chat and interaction rules

Use comments, messages, and adoption chat respectfully. Do not harass, threaten, scam, spam, impersonate, pressure users, request unsafe meetings, or send illegal, sexual, violent, hateful, or rights-violating content.

7. Reports and enforcement

Users can report content, accounts, listings, comments, and messages where tools are available. Wagter may remove content, limit visibility, disable features, restrict accounts, suspend accounts, or permanently terminate accounts when needed for safety, legal compliance, animal welfare, rights protection, abuse prevention, or policy enforcement.

Do not submit false or malicious reports.
