Article & Writer Policy

1. Article access is limited

Not every Wagter account can publish articles. Article writing, Writer Studio, publishing, review tools, or creator-only article features may be limited to eligible, trusted, approved, reviewed, or staged-rollout accounts.

Wagter may grant, deny, limit, review, suspend, or remove article access at any time for safety, quality, abuse-prevention, legal, operational, or product reasons.

2. Article content must fit Wagter

Articles should be meaningfully related to pets, wildlife, animal care, adoption, conservation, nature education, responsible ownership, animal welfare, rescue, or creator stories connected to animals.

3. Accuracy and responsibility

Writers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and safety of their articles. Articles must not present unsafe medical, veterinary, legal, financial, or emergency advice as guaranteed professional advice.

Users should contact qualified professionals such as veterinarians, animal welfare authorities, shelters, or legal professionals where appropriate.

4. Copyright and media rights

Writers may only upload article text, images, videos, graphics, or other material that they own, created themselves, or have permission to use.

Do not copy articles, photos, videos, screenshots, logos, or protected material from other websites, creators, apps, or social platforms without permission.

Suspected copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights violations may be removed and may lead to article restrictions or account action.

5. AI-generated or assisted articles

Users are responsible for any AI-assisted article content they publish. AI-assisted content must still be accurate, lawful, animal-focused, non-deceptive, and compliant with Wagter policies.

Do not use AI to copy another creator’s protected work, impersonate experts, create fake rescue claims, fabricate animal health facts, or mislead users.

6. Prohibited article content

• animal cruelty, unsafe handling, or content encouraging harm to animals;
• illegal wildlife trade, poaching, trafficking, or restricted animal sales;
• scams, fake rescue claims, misleading adoption claims, or donation fraud;
• harassment, hate, threats, adult content, graphic violence, or illegal content;
• misleading AI-generated or manipulated content that causes harm or deception;
• copied, stolen, or infringing content;
• medical, veterinary, legal, or emergency claims presented as guaranteed professional advice.

7. Review and moderation

Articles may be reviewed before or after publication. Wagter may edit formatting, limit visibility, reject drafts, remove published articles, disable article features, or restrict accounts where needed for safety, quality, legal compliance, or platform integrity.

8. Reports

Users can report articles that appear unsafe, misleading, infringing, abusive, illegal, or outside Wagter’s animal-focused purpose. Reports can be submitted in-app where available or by emailing support@wagters.com.
